Royal Enfield Classic 350 service schedule
The J-series Classic 350 (2021 onwards) is far less fussy than the old one — but the first service and the chain still need attention. Here's the schedule from the owner's manual.

Engine oil
- Grade: SAE 15W-50, API SL, JASO MA2, semi-synthetic.
- Quantity: about 1.7 litres at an oil change; 2.2 litres for a dry engine.
- When: at the services where your schedule calls for it — ask the service centre to show you the schedule line if unsure.
Things worth doing on a Classic
- Chain: clean and lube every 500–1,000 km and after rain; keep the slack as marked.
- Spoke wheels: if yours has spokes, have their tension checked at services.
- Battery: a Classic that stands for weeks often won't start — ride it weekly or use a trickle charger.
- Chrome and paint: wash off road salt and mud promptly in the monsoon.
